A small studio with a long memory.

Aarav grew up in a coastal town in Kerala, where the light changed three times a day and nobody owned a camera. He photographed his first wedding at nineteen on a borrowed Pentax — for a meal and a tank of petrol. The bride cried when she saw the prints. He hasn't stopped since.

Dreams began in 2014 as a single-room studio above a tailor's shop in Bengaluru. Today it is a quiet collective of seven photographers, three filmmakers and one teacher — the same person who started it. The work has lived in Vogue India, on the wall at Cannes Lions, and on a thousand bedside tables.

We don't take more than thirty weddings a year. We don't promise virality. We promise that the morning your daughter is born, you will reach for the album we made on the day you married — and the light in it will still feel honest.
